Meet Our Mona Fellows
July 17, 2025
This summer, we’re proud to welcome an incredible group of Mona Fellows who are working on strategic projects that advance our mission: building a more inclusive financial system and helping underserved small business owners access affordable capital.
The Mona Fellowship offers hands-on experience and mentorship at the intersection of inclusive fintech, social impact, and entrepreneurship. Our fellows are launching new tools, strengthening our platform, and helping us deepen our impact in cities across the U.S.
Meet the fellows:
Rahul Das
Rahul is an incoming second-year MBA student at Chicago Booth with a background in management consulting at Bain & Company and a deep passion for coaching and empowerment. At Bain, he did a full-time externship at First Place for Youth, a foster care nonprofit that helps older foster youth successfully transition to self-sufficiency. At Booth, he launched Move With Rahul, a 1:1 and group personal training business, and shares educational content online. This summer, Rahul is driving new product strategy for Mona’s coaching platform, exploring how personalized support can empower small businesses to grow and thrive.
Hannah Karlin
Hannah is a rising second-year MBA student at Chicago Booth. She brings a strong background in customer success at early- and mid-stage tech companies, where she led initiatives to build teams, streamline operations, and drive sustainable growth. At Booth, Hannah is exploring on how technology companies can be leveraged to expand access to capital, business support, and economic opportunity for historically underserved communities. She also serves as a co-chair of Net Impact, where she leads community-building efforts for students committed to using business as a force for good.
Amrita Mohan
Amrita is a Product Fellow at Mona, leading initiatives to expand access to capital for underrepresented small business owners. She brings deep technical expertise from her prior career as a software engineer specializing in data and ML infrastructure at Amazon and GoFundMe. During her MBA at Chicago Booth, she supported early-stage startups on go-to-market and product strategy. Amrita is passionate about using technology to advance economic mobility and close opportunity gaps through thoughtful, data-driven products.
We’re thrilled to have Rahul, Hannah, and Amrita on the team and are excited for all they’ll accomplish and the impact they’ll have! 🚀
