Polsky Small Business Financial Fundamentals Program

Overview: A 12-week intensive program (Jan–Mar 2026) for South and West Side Chicago businesses seeking to strengthen financial skills and prepare for capital readiness. Participants receive tailored technical assistance in business finance education, financial reporting, and capital pathways, plus one-on-one coaching. Open to business owners with $250K–$500K in annual revenue who are pursuing bank loans or fundraising. Polsky Small Business Growth Program

Sephora Beauty Grant

Overview: The Sephora Beauty Grant, created in partnership with the Fifteen Percent Pledge, awards one Black-owned beauty business a $100,000 grant to accelerate its growth and visibility. The David Prize

Overview: The Gusto Impact Awards celebrate small businesses making a big difference in their communities – from local cafés to nonprofits changing lives. Across five U.S. regions, winners receive $50,000 in prizes, including cash grants ($10,000), advertising ($40,000), and free payroll service, with over $325,000 awarded nationwide. Robin Hood Catalyst Program

Meta Data Center Community Action Grants

Participants gain access to practical training, expert support, and a powerful network of 16,000+ graduates across all 50 states, D.C., and Puerto Rico. Applications are open for both national (online) and local (in-person) cohorts, with deadlines about 3 months before each cohort’s start date.
Truist Foundation Grant

Overview: The Truist Foundation Grant supports U.S.-based nonprofits that create economic opportunity by building career pathways to mobility and strengthening small businesses. Grants fund sustainable, innovative initiatives — such as launching or expanding programs, developing curricula, or purchasing equipment — rather than ongoing operational expenses. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) public charities aligned with the foundation’s priorities, and applications are reviewed three times a year (March 31, July 31, and November 30).
